Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.

We had my son's dental procedure completed here, and the clinical team on the day of surgery took good care of him. The procedure itself went smoothly, and I appreciate the staff who cared for him. Unfortunately, my experience with the administrative side of the practice was very frustrating. The preauthorization and insurance process involved poor communication and conflicting information, including false clinical visits sent to the insurance company. I spent a great deal of time trying to resolve issues that I felt should have been handled by the office. My interactions with the office manager Rita was disappointing and unprofessional. I hope the practice improves its communication, insurance coordination, and customer service, because those areas significantly impacted what would have otherwise been a positive experience.

My daughter came in expecting a procedure for her son based on information that had been explained to us beforehand by a different dentist in the office. Unfortunately, what we were told and what was actually presented on the day of the appointment were not consistent, causing understandable confusion and concern. When this discrepancy was brought to the attention of the staff, the situation was handled in a manner that felt dismissive, unsympathetic, and unprofessional. After waiting for hours and taking time to become comfortable moving forward, we were ultimately informed by the head nurse, Crystal, that the procedure would not proceed even after we had been given the option to wait, decided to move forward, and completed the necessary paperwork. Rather than showing compassion and helping us navigate what was clearly a communication breakdown, the dentist doing the procedure appeared more concerned with ending the discussion than resolving the issue. Had the situation been handled with empathy and understanding, much of the frustration could have been avoided. Instead, it felt as though legitimate concerns were met with defensiveness rather than a genuine effort to help. What

My son had surgery today. He had 5 crowns placed, fillings and extractions done. All staff remained professional, informative, kind and caring. Procedure was done timely and updates provided accurately throughout. I was pleasantly pleased with this establishment and the care they provided from the women at the desk, to the admitting and discharge nurse, to the doctor and anesthesiologist. They made my 11 year old who was incredibly anxious feel comfortable and at ease. Thank you for your service!

Doctor was great! 10 ⭐ for him. But the front desk and dental assistant who took us back were okayish. They seemed a bit annoyed. Front desk tried to have me schedule a surgery for my son I didn’t know if he would need or not ( and he didn't need it) she kind of had an attitude that I didn’t want to schedule it. Which I’m glad I did not as again he did not need surgery. It was a okay/ decent experience. I just think the service between everyone besides the doctor could be improved.
